Passion For Words: Elizabeth Torres "Poetry in Multimedia, the NEVERSTOP way"

From experimental poetry in music and video format, to podcasts about poetry, a digital magazine turned printed publication, and international collaborations around the planet, Elizabeth Torres is an avid creator who combines the various technologies and techniques at her reach to allow poetry to bloom without limits. There's a reason why she goes by the monicker Madam Neverstop, and in this conversation she explains the techniques, rotations and tricks that facilitate the endless production of cultural documentation and content.

Elizabeth resides in Copenhagen, where she works as a writer and translator, directs Red Door Magazine and Red Door Gallery, Copenhagen, and is host to the Red Transmissions Podcast, as well as project coordinator for other initiatives in Europe and abroad.
Most recent publications: Det usynlige sår/La herida invisible (The invisible wound), a selection of her poetry translated to Danish by Malene Boeck Thorborg was released by Det Poetiske Bureaus Forslag in November, 2019. Previous to that, En las Fauces del Olvido (In the Jaws of Oblivion) was published in Puerto Rico by La Impresora, and then launched in Mexico and Guatemala, with additional presentations in Sweden, Finland, Germany and Denmark during 2017. A bilingual edition of this book was printed by the same publishing project and presented in Colombia, New York and Scandinavia throughout a tour and various festivals in 2018.
Her books “The Ways of the Firefly” and “Would you like to come home?” translated to German by Klaudia Ruschkowski are being published by Moloko Print in 2020.
